Celebrating Int’l Women's Day with Gratitude for the Rise of Wellth.

This International Women's Day, as we embrace the theme of empowerment and progress for women around the globe, I find myself reflecting on my own journey—a path marked by resilience, growth, and the unwavering belief in the power of nurturing only the seeds we wish to see bloom. My story, much like the stories of countless other women, is one of overcoming. It's about choosing which parts of our garden to water, acknowledging that where we direct our attention is where we will see growth.

Growing up under the shadow of a malignant narcissist mother and a father who never really wanted us,

…I learned early on about the weeds of imposter syndrome and unworthiness. These were seeds planted without my consent, threatening to choke the delicate blooms of confidence and self-worth I so desperately needed to flourish. It took years of introspection and the conscious decision to stop watering these invasive species, to instead focus on the sunlight and nourishment my garden truly deserved. This decision—to water only the seeds I want to continue to bloom—has been the cornerstone of my personal and professional life.

The journey wasn't easy. It required the courage to face deeply rooted fears and the strength to break away from the narrative imposed upon me. But in doing so, I discovered the boundless potential within, akin to a garden finally rid of shadows, basking in the full light of the sun.

This process of selective nurturing has not only been transformative on a personal level but has also been the foundation upon which Wellth for Women was built. Celebrating its first anniversary this past January, Wellth for Women stands as a testament to what women can achieve when they come together, support one another, and forge partnerships rooted in empowerment and mutual growth. Our community—a vibrant, ever-expanding garden of female badasses—embodies the essence of strength, resilience, and collective progress.

As we celebrate this significant milestone,

…I am reminded of the incredible women in leadership who have paved the way for us to thrive. Women like Oprah Winfrey, who overcame adversity to become a beacon of empowerment and philanthropy; Malala Yousafzai, whose courage in the face of oppression has made her a global symbol of the fight for girls' education; and Jacinda Ardern, who has redefined leadership with empathy and decisiveness. These women, among many others, have shown us that leadership is not just about reaching the top—it's about how many others you can uplift along the way.

On this International Women's Day, let us commit to watering only the seeds we wish to see grow in our lives and in the lives of those around us. Let's nurture our gardens with care, ensuring that unworthiness and imposter syndrome find no place among the vibrant blooms of confidence, self-worth, and empowerment.

Together, as we continue to build communities like Wellth for Women,

…we forge not just partnerships but alliances of strength and resilience. We celebrate not only our individual achievements but the collective success of women everywhere. Here's to another year of growth, empowerment, and the relentless pursuit of well-being for all women.

Happy International Women's Day to all the remarkable women out there. May your gardens flourish, and may you always find the strength to nurture only the most beautiful blooms in your life.
