Ways to Invest in Yourself this Year
Investing in yourself is one of the most authentic forms of self-love you can show yourself consistently. But how do you choose what to invest in?
Well, for us an easy starting place is to become a Wellthy Woman member, but more on that later. Here are some categories we connected with the most when it comes to reducing stress and increasing holistic success:
Time Savers
Subscribe to a time or project management system to help you stay organized and on track with deadlines. Some of our faves include Hive, Trello, Asana, and ClickUp.
Connect with automation tools around your house or workplace. If you can schedule your coffee pot, do it. Invest in a robo-vac to automate cleaning. Whatever you can pre-schedule for … do it. Groceries, bill-pay, laundry etc.
If you cannot keep up with your home outside your work schedule and are sick of sacrificing time with family and friends, invest in a house keeper. You have a fair amount of control over the affordability of these services by designating when and how often they come out to your space.
Sign up for a scheduling software so you can streamline meeting communications, forms, and even payment processes with your clients. We are a huge fan of Calendly.
Education & Training
Online learning sites like Udemy or Skillshare are an amazing and usually affordable resource to continue educating yourself on business foundations, market trends, and niche’ (creative) skill sets.
As pioneers in the diversified coaching model, we know firsthand the impact working 1:1 with a professional coach or consultant can have on both your business and overall quality of life. Collaborating with a coach isn’t just about sharing your ideas but receiving feedback, actionable steps, resources, encouragement, and the accountability you need to stay dedicated to what matters most. Become a Wellthy Woman today for $25 bucks a month if you pay annually or $40 on a month-to-month basis!
Networking & Sociability
Connecting with other business owners and leaders both within and outside of your industry is extremely important for multiple reasons. Of course for professional viability and brand visibility but human interaction and relationship building are essential elements we need as social creatures! Find local networking groups that resonate with you and pay the attendance fee - you won’t regret it.
Join a physical or virtual fitness group; there are so many options out there that allow for interaction with other class participants to keep us showing up!
Reach out to local hobby groups in your community like book clubs, hiking buddies, crafters… these are usually free or cheap to join but are more of a time investment back into your joy account.
Self-Care
Invest in a self-care routine whether it is something you do in your own home or at a dayspa, consistency is key to maintaining your ongoing health and wellness.
Take time everyday, no matter if it’s only five minutes, to do something nice for yourself. It could be something as simple as reciting your daily affirmations or fire gazing into your favorite lit candle.
Work with a health and wellness coach to come up with routines and practices to keep your mental, emotional, and physical resiliency strong. We know a few great ones!
Lastly, invest time in setting healthy boundaries for yourself. This doesn’t sound like a traditional investment but when you start laying down lines for others not to cross you’ll recognize how much time and effort maintaining them is. However, the ROI on personal and professional boundaries is ten-fold!
It’s not about how much money or time you decide to re-invest in your business and self but the impact the output makes in achieving the true Wellth you deserve . We know your worth it and you do too.
