You Were Born Worthy

Most of us have been taught to associate worth with success throughout our most formative years. If you got straight A’s as a kid, it was worth a triple stack of soft serve at Dairy Queen. If you did all of your chores, it was worth your $5 weekly allowance. And, of course, if you were behaving in a way that was deemed “good”, polite, or well-mannered by your folks, you were worthy of hearing a “good job” or a treat of some kind.

It’s not surprising that as adults, we struggle with the true definition of our personal worth. The first time we hear that our worth is not something earned but instead something we are born with, it feels like a bomb has been dropped . But it’s true. We are all born and continue to be worthy by just merely existing and living our everyday lives. It takes active work to reprogram our belief system and esteem to accept the fact that we are always worthy. We actually need to actively refuse external influences (opinions and judgements) before they creep into our muscle memory and store doubt, fear, and negative self-messaging tactics we simply don’t deserve.

One way to take back the defining process of your own worth is by repeating the following affirmations and support them with the truth - positive self-talk about how great you are by just being you!

I am Worthy of Love

No one comes into this world unloveable. You are innately worthy of love and to be loved.

I am Worthy of Wellness

Your life, body, and wellbeing have unmeasurable worth. Health is at the core of everything that makes you and this world go around.

I am Worthy of Feeling Fulfillment

Your life has purpose. You are worthy of feeling excitement, delight, and inner-peace from the lifestyle you live and the gifts you bring through your work.

I am Worthy of Success

We all have flaws; let’s celebrate them and find the lesson in each and every one. Through self-acceptace of imperfection you can realize you’re worthy of success in both your personal and professional life .

I am Worthy of Wealth

Everyone is equally worthy of financial freedom, security, and real wealth that can afford our wildest dreams. Though wealth is not something we naturally come into this world with, we are all worthy of it through dedication, persistence, and authenticity. I have always found that money comes to those that stay true to who they are and what they love because their passion is apparent in their work.

It may take reminding yourself daily that mistakes, missed opportunities, or character flaws do not define your worth. You are, in fact, the only person on the planet that designs your beliefs - make one of them that you were born worthy of everything kind, good, and happy. I guarantee as your mindset shifts you will see more positivity in your life and career through new connections, opportunities, and improved wellness.
