How to Rise Above the Quitters
As women, we often find ourselves struggling to keep up with the expectations of the world around us. We try to live up to impossible standards, and when we fall short, it can feel like the world is against us. Whether it's a boss who doesn't give us the recognition we deserve, a team member or partner who decides to walk away, it can be difficult to face these challenges on our own. But as women, we were born with the strength to not only endure, but overcome. We have the power to rise above.
But how do we do it? When rising above it all feels overwhelmingly scary, lonely, or damn near impossible, how do persist with the heart of lioness? Resilience. Love. Connection. And a community of other women standing behind you. Welcome Wellthy Women… you have found your tribe of change makers, dreamers, and doers.
Find Your Inner Strength & Celebrate Your Uniqueness
When faced with adversity, it's easy to give up and let others define us. But as true balance-seeking badasses, we have the power to find our inner strength and choose to see challenges as opportunities for growth. We define ourselves on our own terms even when others show doubt in us. Every single woman is unique in her strengths, ambitions, and backstories - we not only can celebrate our individuality but should be gassed up by others for them too. If someone decides to walk away and “leave your corner” they didn’t belong there in the first place.
One way to find our inner strength and the confidence to take pride in ourselves is through coaching. Wellth for Women is proud to provide flexible 1:1 coaching that helps women discover their strengths, overcome their challenges, and achieve their goals while remaining in the driver’s seat of deciphering what area of support they need every month. Through coaching, we can learn to trust ourselves, believe in ourselves, and become the best version of ourselves.
Build a Strong Support System
No woman is an island, and we all need a strong support system to help us through the tough times. This support system can come from friends, family, or colleagues who believe in us and encourage us to keep going. But sometimes, we need more than just a shoulder to cry on. That's where Wellth for Women comes in. As a supportive community, Wellth for Women provides a safe and welcoming space for women to connect, share their experiences, and support each other with resources, education, and of course, real-life compassion. Whether it's through individual coaching, virtual workshops, or online community events, women can find the support they need in one another. The beauty of connection resides in the power we share through simple words and actions to more complex collaborations. When we come together to serve the group we unknowingly serve ourselves. That’s the real power of women supporting women.
Focus on What You Can Control
When others decide to quit or give up on us, it's easy to feel like we've lost control. But in fact we DO have the power to take control of our own lives by focusing on only what we can control. This means setting goals, taking action, and staying focused on our vision for the future while quieting the background noise. With silence comes clarity, focus, and determination. Whether you need help distinguishing what is truly within your control, need a personalized plan that redirects you to accomplish your goals in a new way, or need vetted, affordable female professionals to help you do the doing our Wellthy Women are here for you!
Embrace Self-Care
Self-care is not selfish, it's essential. When facing challenges, it's important to take care of ourselves both physically and mentally. This means getting enough sleep, eating well, exercising regularly, and taking time for ourselves to recharge and relax. Inner peace brings wisdom which leads to full acceptance that no matter who walked out on you, you will still achieve your dreams. When in doubt, turn to your supporters, networks of other women, family, and friends to bring your esteem to the brim.
One important form of self-care is to set healthy boundaries with both yourself and others. Listen in on Wellth for Women’s Spiritual Life Coach, Brittani Frey’s recorded webinar on building healthier barriers for personal growth. It’s more than just valid to make your expectations know but usually an expectation that others will have of us. Give them what you both need - boundaries to respect, navigate, and prioritize. If someone decides to quit on you because of them, think of it as a gift in disguise
When others decide to quit or give up on us, it can be difficult to keep going. But with the support of a coach and a community like Wellth for Women, we can rise above and achieve the success we deserve. By finding our inner strength, building a strong support system, focusing on what we can control, and embracing self-care we can overcome the fear of being left alone by the “quitters” and become the leaders we were born to be with or without them.
